Hello, my name is Tanya Stephanie Rosas. I am a 23 year old mother, wife, nurse, and student. I currently live in Baytown, Texas where i have live my whole life. I am currently working at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center. I did clinical rotations in the Woman's Center and I fell in love. I enjoy being a soccer mom and love to bake. I am also a student at the University of Texas Health Science Center where I am going for my BSN this December 2017.

Community
Red Cross Volunteer since 2015 we would go to elementary schools and teach how scrubby bear would wash his hands to avoid germs I am also a volunteer for Baytown Youth Soccer Club, my son is currently a member and we help set up fundraisers. I also volunteer at Our Lady of Guadalupe and teach first communion classes.
Goals
After graduation in May of 2016 I gave myself two years to obtain my BSN degree. I was determined to finish going to school. Now in December of 2017 I will receive my new degree making it my third degree. For my next 5 year goal i want to expand my family and consider going to school for Family Nurse Practitioner.

Honors / Awards
In high school i graduate top ten percent of my graduating class. i was number 23. At lee college i was a member of Honor Society and now UTH has offered me to join Honor Society as well.

Professional Activities
I am a member of our breastfeeding support group offered by the lactation nurses and also working on becoming a member of the Texas Ten Steps. I also help precept nurses, I will be taking a preceptor class this upcoming month.
